Here’s how we use an embroidery machine at our shop to create beautiful, custom designs on virtually any piece of clothing: 1. Create a Design Our graphic design experts come up with a unique design, or a client brings a pre-designed graphic in themselves. 2. Transfer the File to the Embroidery Machine This can be done directly using a USB cable, flash card or through the computer. 3. Set the Machine There are a number of factors that need to be considered when setting the machine. We need specific speed, needles, threads, orientation, order and spacing to ensure a clean design. It’s more complicated than it looks! 4. Place the Fabric For the machine to work, the fabric needs to be stretched about as tight as your holiday budget. We secure it to the machine so it’s perfectly lined up. 5. Stitch Away! Now, we get to sit back and relax while the machine works its magic. Watch your fingers! Custom embroidery is a great way to elevate your apparel to another level. While this can be slightly more expensive than other printing methods, nothing looks quite as sharp as an embroidered logo or design on a t-shirt, jacket or other piece of clothing.
